Head Coach, Long Island Pride Futures
Coach Rose brings over 27 years of teaching and coaching experience to the Long Island Pride Fastpitch organization. She is currently the head coach of the Pride Futures Team, where she shares her passion for the game and helps young athletes develop their skills and love for softball.
A proud product of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, and Sachem North High School, Coach Rose was a standout player who played a key role in her team’s success, winning a league title, a Suffolk County Championship, and advancing to the state finals, where her team earned a #2 ranking. She graduated in 1991 and continued her softball career at Hofstra University.
At Hofstra, Diana was a four-year starter for the Division I softball team under Coach Bill Edwards. She played third base and shortstop, helping her team win four consecutive conference championships and reach the NCAA Regionals for the first time in program history. In 1993, she was named team MVP, and as a senior, she earned NFCA Regional All-American Second Team honors and All-Conference recognition.
