Assistant Coach, Pride 14u Abruscato

 

Alex Karavias comes back home bringing her experience as a collegiate softball athlete at Mercy College to her role as a coach with Long Island Pride Fastpitch. Having competed at a high level, Karaviass understands the discipline, work ethic, and skills required to excel in softball.

 

As a Pride alum, the stud pitcher and first baseman uses her versatility to mentor young athletes, focusing on developing their technical abilities, game awareness, and mental toughness. Karavias draws from her own journey to guide players in navigating challenges, building confidence, and fostering a love for the game.

 

Her experience competing in high-pressure situations at Mercy College has equipped her with valuable insights that she shares with her athletes, helping them prepare for competitive play. By instilling a strong foundation of fundamentals and advanced strategies, Karavias ensures her players are well-rounded and prepared for future opportunities.​

As a coach, Alex is passionate about giving back to the sport and helping the next generation of Pride softball players achieve their goals. Her dedication and firsthand knowledge make her an inspiring and effective mentor within the Long Island Pride Fastpitch organization.
